My name is Danielle, and I am spending this academic year as a Fulbright English Teaching Assistant in Yalova, Turkey. I graduated this past May from St. Mary’s College of Maryland and I am excited to spend this year exploring myself, as well as the beautiful country of Turkey. As an English Teaching Assistant, I am a lecturer at Yalova University and teach English language to students in my classes. I am writing in order to maintain a record of my time here and to give myself a chance to reflect on my day-to-day experiences.
